NMSP Agents Disrupt Drug Distribution Ring and Make Five Arrests in Clovis

Curry County –On Monday, April 15, 2013, Agents with the New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau and New Mexico Adult Probation/Parole Office (APPO) went to 912 Gidding Street, Apt #5 in an attempt to locate Andrea Fenstermaker (23) of Clovis. Fenstermaker was wanted on an outstanding felony narcotic warrant.

Once at the residence, Agents observed movement inside. An APPO Officer observed an open window and upon looking inside observed the residence to be occupied. As Agents were dealing with them at the front door, another male subject ran out of the backdoor, leading Agents on a short foot pursuit before he was also apprehended. He was identified as .

Upon the later execution of a search warrant on the residence, 5.2 grams of methamphetamine and evidence of narcotics trafficking were located. All individuals at the residence were arrested on felony charges and transported to the Curry County Detention Center.

Arrested where: Andrea Festermaker (23) of Clovis for felony narcotic possession warrant and additional felony charges: Victor Apodaca (24) of Clovis for felony probation violation and additional felony charges: Fermin Rodriquez (22) of Clovis for felony probation violation: Jeremy Crisp (24) of Clovis for felony warrant: David Chapman (23) of Clovis for felony warrant out of Texas and additional felony charges

These arrests were possible through the partnership with Adult Probation/Parole Office and Agents from the State Police Investigations Bureau. State Police is in step with its small rural communities in keeping them safe and crime free.
